  1. Thats good LA FITNESS is being investigated and explored. Theyre thiefs and thats bottom line, thats why i never got any gym membership anywhere. Just work out on your own, youll save aloot of money.

  2. This is total shit reporting. The person asked can I cancel, and the employee said “yes you can.” WHERE IS THE LIE???

  3. omg IM DEALING WITH THE SAME SCAMMERS BUT IN NEW YORK. LA Personal training is not the way to go at ALL. THEY REACH OUT TO YOU GIVE YOU THAT FREE FIRST TRAINING SESSION AND ATTACK YOUR POCKETS WHILE YOU SIT AND RECOVER THINKING YOUR GETTING A GOOD DEAL WHEN IN REALITY YOU ARE NOT. VERY UPSETTING AND UNFORTUNATE. THEY WANT EITHER $1032 OR A HALF AND HALF BUY OUT FOR $600 FOR EXCHANGE 0F NOTHING.

  4. It makes me wonder if the employees are not telling them about the contract because they have to hit certain numbers but I personally work at LA Fitness and before that I had a membership and there are no contracts so I'm a little confused

  5. I use to work there and I can say without a doubt that there is a contract
I also worked in the Corp office for collections for about 1 yr and we would have to call ppl to collect cancelled or should I say training packages that were unpayed and offer discounts to close out accounts and leave on what was referred as “ good standing “ with us
Most people would say that in fact there were told it was not a contract and were threatened to have their credit affected if they didn’t pay which was also false it would never affect your credit .

  6. Word of advice: just sign up for a basic, monthly, multi-club membership (multi-club meaning you can work out at any LA Fitness whether in your area or abroad). That’s what I did.

  7. Change your card number and they can not charge you also after 30 days the contract will be expired and not damaging your credit because you didn't provide your social security and always pay with the gift card.
