)S EXECUTION DATE FOR FEBRUARY 22ND.NEW TONIGHT– FUNDING FOR THE HEALTHY FOOD INCENTIVE PROGRAM IN BIRMINGHAM HAS BEEN CUT MAYOR RANDALL WOODFIN ANNOUNCED THE DECISION THIS WEEK. THE CITY COUNCIL APPROVED THE PROGRAM IN APRIL OF THIS YEAR. IT GIVES THOSE WHO QUALIFY A CARD WITH BETWEEN 50 TO 150 DOLLARS TO BUY HEALTHY FOODS.ELDERLY AND DISABLED RESIDENTS AND THOSE BELOW THE POVERTY LINE BENEFITTED THE MOST.
