LEG/GLUTE WORKOUT AT PLANET FITNESS | LOVEEMANDA



hey guys welcome back to my channel if you're new here my name is Amanda and today we're gonna be hitting legs and glutes together so first things first I like to start off my leg slash glute workout with hip thrust hip thrusts are just amazing for growing the glutes in what we want and it will hit your hamstrings as well so yeah as you can see every time I'm at the top I squeeze really hard I kind of pause at the top just to squeeze even more to activate the glutes even better and as you can see my toes are pointed slightly outwards and I'm driving through my heels to basically perform this movement so that way it'll just hit your glutes the most so next up is the reverse hip abduction there's so many variation on how you can do this but this is my favorite way of doing the hip abduction and I just find that it hits my side glutes the most so basically this is what you want to do to help round out the booty and around out the hips to give it that hourglass look to the body but anyways I know this looks like very uncomfortable to do and it seems like people are gonna stare at you but who cares just make sure you just focus on yourself who cares what other people are doing they're probably focusing on themselves too so yeah so I really like to pause at this part right here for about two seconds and then I go up I just feel like it burns a little bit more when you do that and just make sure whenever you are do performing any exercise to just take your time and squeeze if you have to pause if you have to I promise you it'll burn more at the end of the day so next up is hamstring curls and I did not know that Planet Fitness had this machine because it was hidden in the 30 minute room at least at my Planet Fitness so if you don't know where to find this hamstring curl machine then just be sure to check your 30 minute room but yeah so this basically is just like everything else you just want to squeeze and pause at the top for at least two seconds I almost forgot to mention that make sure to increase the weight for every set that's the best method to help your muscles grow and just you know help yourself get stronger and stronger every time and make sure you just take your time because it is all about mind to muscles connections so next up is reverse lunges as you can see I'm doing them with some dumbbells but you can also do them with some barbells or on the smith machine as well but basically you just want to do 10 on each leg and then once you're done with one leg then switch to the other leg you can also alternate the legs but I find that it works better for me and my balance when I just do one leg at a time so yeah so next up is the curtsy lunges so basically similar to the reverse lunges that we've just done previously but this time instead of going straight back you want to go to the other side like diagonally so yeah you just want to do ten reps on each leg and then switch and then do them two more times and with curtsy lunges this will help target your side glutes as well so again a rounding out the booty and rounding out of the hip all right so last but not least is the kneeling rope pull through so this is really good for the under butt and as well as the hamstrings and it's just good overall so this is actually one of my favorite exercises to do for my glute days and yeah so basically you just want to take your time and just really squeeze at the top like I've been saying squeeze squeeze squeeze thank you so much for watching don't forget to give this video a thumbs up if you enjoyed it and please let me know what you want to see next and I'll see you guys in my next video bye love
