  2. Will definitely try this! I usually make my faux beef with walnuts and cooked green lentils, the lentils add that extra moisture to the meat that is missing, without additional oil!

  3. Are you sure you added enough oil? I think it could've used a little more oil. There's not enough fat in those nuts and that tiny amount of oil you used. Thanks for calling it "whole foods" at the end there, so real, so not false advertising!

  4. I love making Raw Walnut Taco meat. I usually eat it Raw with a romaine leaf as a shell But your Nachos Looked Damn good.

  5. Dude, this looks really interesting. Here in Brazil walnuts are crazy expensive, but I'm intrigued so I might try it in the next few days 😀

  6. My only problem as you already mentioned is how much walnuts cost idk how much they cost in Canada but the amount you had would be about AUD$15-18 here

  7. Looks delicious. I think Emborg is great for this kind of thing if your not going with a homemade cheese sauce. Hard to find sometimes though here in Halifax.

  8. Honestly after just freaking out about brain health I love that you did a recipe with walnuts! do you think an equivalent whole food hack exist for mock chicken ?

  9. I was a raw vegan for quite a while and am now curious which raw restaurant it was. I'm working my butt off to lose weight and have started adding raw dishes back into my diet. Will be trying this out!

  10. nice try! I have tested a mushroom / walnut lasagna recipe it tasted like beef! really good!
Oh and I'm french but don't know this brand.. whaaaat
Can you try to do tuna? thanks 🙂

  11. I think maybe cook the lentil mixture on the stove for a bit and then bake it. Have you got a recipe for vegan Graham crackers?

  12. This looks really good, especially as an alternative to TVP for people avoiding soy products. I have a recipe that uses walnuts, pecans, and sunflower or pumpkin seeds that I like, but will give yours a try. Thanks for the recipe/video.

  13. I Got a private Playlist simply Named Food this is going in that Play List!! so I remember to try it lol can not wait to try it..

  14. I have been watching this channel for so long. I still don’t know how many different apartments/condos etc they have filmed at

  15. For anyone looking to reduce/reuse/recycle their waste: Late July offers a free Terracycle program for their tortilla chip bags! Their chips are pretty good too.

  16. you should do this with like Sage, fennel seed & other sausage like spices & put it on top of pizza!

  17. That reminds me so much of G-ZEN's Raw Taco. Soooo good. http://g-zen.com They are made with Walnuts. Thanks for the great video.

  18. Still can't get over how good bangs look on you! love the walnuts idea, it's a good way to replace textured soybeans which I usually use. Btw, I just uploaded a college day in my life if anyone is interested! it's my first video, so it would mean a lot <3

  19. Will definitely try this. Thanks for sharing. I need to switch up my diet at least a few days a week. 😀

  20. I would definitely I add sun-dried tomatoes and if you're not like into Raw foods add red kidney beans it's such a good combination😁

  21. I literally JUST bought some walnuts recently…..to try an make nachos…. I was researching where to start …. an this video pops in my suggestions!!

  22. Epic plate! Realized the other day that there is SO much milk cheese that is processed; which doesn't make vegan cheese any less cheese overall. Tha ratio of vegan fermented and processed cheeses next to milk cheese are litterally the same! The rest is just plain bullying! XD <3

  23. Awesome video! Can’t wait to try it! I love how u honestly critique the recipe! What kind of shredded cheddar did u use? Is it good?

  24. Hi Candice, Do you Soak the raw sunflower seeds too? You didn't say! I love your Channel ❤️ Blessings from Oklahoma,
    Piper

  25. How can it be vegan beef it's not real you eat toxic sludge all the time I bet you fart all the time and have bloody diarrhea, torn colon and shredded anus and severe brain fog. And all vegans on earth openly accepts and promotes and supports child abuse and murder. Plenty of vegan baby deaths on all media platforms, you are worse than PEDOPHILLES you put animals before your own flesh and blood. You claim to be friendly when you threaten ex vegans and farmers etc with murder and rape you want plastic shoes etc and what is growing in pollution every day plastic. Go Vegan and eat 💩 and 💩 out blood and plants and eventually die WHOO HOO.

  26. I think this is how they make the "Neat" meat, which is a soy free vegan meat. I always wanted to try it but now i can make my own. Thanks babygirl. 😊

  27. would love to hear your thoughts on the raw vegan diet and all about your experience running that raw restaurant! i thrive off of a high raw, high fruit diet (10 years now) but love your recipe videos for inspo!

  28. Beef is not "oily", some parts are FATTY, so…. I am trying this recipe but I will replace some of the oil with MELTED VEGAN BUTTER

  29. Awesome. I'm going to try this. I wonder if you used it in lasagne if the tomato sauce would keep it moist?

  30. I'm watching this food stuff but im thinking about how I can make one of my dumb tie dye shirts look like what shes wearing.

  31. I’ve been making a similar recipe for years but this one looks better. I’ve never added the seeds and only a few of the spices. And to make it less dense I put it in a lettuce wrap.

  32. Great recipe but unfortunately I find that Walnuts and other nuts are expensive so I wouldn't make this too often. Is there a cheaper vegan version using some other whole plants foods?

  33. I’m not vegan, but I do try to use less meat! So for meal preps I use hamburger helper so I can divy it up and it lasts the whole week, I can’t wait to try this!!! Thank you!!!!

  34. If you love animals so much, why are you using the word beef in your recipe? You're exploiting the cow by doing that. How crazy is it to say you're a vegan, yet you use the word beef and meat, all of which apply to an animal. Totally crazy thinking.

  35. I love your new tattoos! (are they new though?) Also, I always trick anyone around to consider my cravings their idea ^^

  36. So using a Drench cheese makes you middle class? I had no idea!! I'm afraid that Americans jump on a fad and misapply certain words where they don't belong. For instance the word bougee comes from bourgeois which means middle class. I hope people will learn to use words in their proper context but unfortunately it's just getting worse.

  37. I agree with the comments suggesting sundried tomato. In a pinch, I have also used tomato paste and a little water or veggie broth to make it saucy. Thanks for the great video Candice!

  38. ground walnuts are the BEST ground beef replacement imo! I love the ground walnut/red lentil combo in pasta sauces or chilli. I find the texture just right 🙂 I will try this recipe in a shepherd's pie
