Muscle Injections Almost Cost This Man His Arms

Muscle Injections Almost Cost This Man His Arms

COMM: Romario Dos Santos Alves has modelled his huge frame on his favourite superhero.
The Incredible Hulk. But his obsession with injecting muscle enhancing oil into his body,
has almost cost him his sanity. And his life. COMM: Three years ago 25-year-old keen bodybuilder Romario had a chance encounter that sent his
life into a downward spiral. COMM: The substance, a mixture of oil, alcohol and lidocaine, is injected into the muscles
to enlarge them. Soon Romario was hooked and injecting regularly. COMM: He met his partner, 22-year-old Marisangela Oliviera Marinho at the gym. COMM: Romario’s biceps swell to more than 25 inches, and people found him terrifying. COMM: But Romario also received praise for his incredible body. Which made it hard for
him to kick his addiction. COMM: Romario’s arms were now causing him constant pain, but he would stop at nothing
to make his look even more extreme. COMM: The constant pain and negative reactions to his appearance, took a toll on Romario’s
mental health. That had a knock on effect on his relationship. COMM: This was a turning point for Romario, he wanted to break the cycle of addiction
and desperate, decided the only course of action was to have his arm amputated. COMM: Romario was lucky, he stopped using the muscle enhancer in 2013. But despite it
almost ruining his life, he’s still tempted to try other substances from time to time. COMM: Romario still has ambitions to become a professional bodybuilder, but is now committed
to staying clean.

  1. What makes it look awkward, is the fact that his Biceps, Triceps and Trapezius (Between the Neck and Shoulders) Muscles are Huge, where as his Deltoid/Shoulders Muscles aren't nearly as large. Therefore, it's obvious which muscles he was primarily Injecting. He might be better off taking some time away from the gym, to reduce the swelling and to let his body recoup. Perhaps even focusing primarily on Cardio for a while (to hasten the burning off of all that unnecessary muscle and ultimately, to strengthen his heart), could also do him a lot of good, as well.

  2. Hopefully he learns from this dumb painful lesson there is no short cut play at your own risk it says on the steroid box

  3. Almost cost him his arms well its already cost him his brain because he looks horrible.most people go to the hospital if they look like this. This.guy purposely try to look like this sad.

  4. He doesn't look good at all. Looks fake, disfigured, full of jelly and tumors. I don't see how he thinks it looks good at all.

  5. At least he didn’t inject it into his breast…

    I LIKE EM BIG… I LIKE EM CHUNKY……. I LIKE EM ROUND…… I LIKE EM PLUMPY.

  6. It looks disgusting !!! I love skinny guys, with NO MUSCLES & small or medium muscles is fine… Natural & Normal…… I don't like any man with TOO MUCH muscles……. & this is wayyyy TOO MUCH !!! It's not sexy at all !!

  7. It just like a guy with tumors and they keep growing. Any body builder is well proportioned. It looks like a skinny guy with fat deformed tumor arms

  8. They don't need to pose even? As they pretend to flex… it doesn't move or anything lol just squishes into lumpier lumps

  9. No person body builder or not has arms like this naturally the arm doesn’t have muscles in the back of him arms like that.

  10. When you listen the guys story and words he clearly has emotional and mental problems this is his mask I wish him all the best and I hope he gets help

  11. No hate but If he did injections under supervision he would have a better looking body with decent proportions

  12. He's a cheater he's not really working for it he's using injections so he's not really gaining anything unlike some people that actually work for what they got this is a disgrace

  13. I hate to tell him this, but he’s NEVER going to be a professional bodybuilder. He has injected synthetic material into his body that has formed cement-like areas where his muscles used to be. He said it himself—the muscles are barely there, it’s all “rocks.” No bodybuilding organization is going to allow him to compete.
