Chef, and here is your healthy tip for the week. So in a lot of foods, like pancakes
and baked goods, that are higher in carbs, I like to replace some of the carbs with protein
powder to make it more healthy, just like I do with my protein peanut butter cookies.
Protein powders come in all sorts of flavors. I usually have at least a vanilla and a chocolate
protein powder in my pantry. Those are the most versatile that I can use in a lot of
different recipes. Adding in the protein powder just one scoop
can add up to 20 to 30 grams of lean protein into your recipe, which is awesome. In a recipe
that calls for flour, you can replace about a third of a cup of flour with the protein
powder, and it’s that easy to get that extra protein. So there is your healthy tip for
