I always said to myself I want to change sports retail I'm some kitchen one of the cofounders of wit I felt full retail had become so dated and so sterile and what we've created here is the absolute opposite of that where we stand out is that we've managed to combine retail and training to shop you can buy apparel footwear accessories then you can walk down stairs and we have a fully functioning gym we had identified there was a sneaker geek culture within training and the consumer were very much obsessed with their Footwear so with our brand partners we would outline particular times of year to basically make the most of it and a particularly good time of year for us is Black Friday we had the product we had the consumer and Google Ads was the perfect way to connect the two in the lead-up to Black Friday we made a conscious effort to ensure that all of our campaigns and ads were running as well as they could do we use a shopping campaign whereby when someone searches for a keyword that matches one of our products we appear in the shopping section of Google and we saw the success of that almost immediately after compared to the year before or at even 2% growth in revenue from outspent and over that weekend we saw the 13 times return on investment it's a huge confidence boost knowing what we spend on Google is actually having a very positive return on business we accept ourselves on target by 2020 that 80% of our revenue is online and Google Ads can be a massive part of reaching that target
