Wastewater treatment system at Sunseed

so my name is pure from Poland my background is I studied and worked as a research chemist but then I changed into more sustainable logic projects so I started learning more about appropriate technology and water in general use and management of the water resources and and the waste water treatment with plants which is my main background at the moment I came here mainly to learn about sustainable living in appropriate technology and also to fulfill a very special project of refurbishment and maintenance of the wastewater system which is installed in some seed the wastewater treatment first of all and at Sun C we separate the black water from the from the grey water which is the menu we treat separately and the other urine and the grey water which comes from shower and washing up we treat separately in first place and and it the wastewater system works here is based on the plants purification system so we do the primary treatment which is a septic tank and then secondarily this water goes to close to vertical and horizontal beds gravel and plants the aquatic plants that have a special feature that they release oxygen by the roots and with bacteria growing around those roots they they decompose all the material organic material that's in the water and that's how the water gets purified and can be reused for gardening irrigation sources and all just simply returned to nature in cleaner much cleaner so the last part of the wastewater treatment here is the hydroponics cultivation plan where we use the hydroponics is the soilless cultivation method where you can grow crops in different substrate rather than soil with the flow of water and nutrients and in here we try to use the waste water which is previously treated to use it as a base for the hydroponic water which contains nutrients already that can be taken up by the plants directly and in here now we we have a cultivation of ments of Nettles of calendula but we want to we want to make to make this broader to be able to cultivate more types of more types of crops
